EtRANSFAIR IS PROMOTED AT LJUBLJANA CONFERENCE ON 20-21 jULY 2019


At the event TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETING RESPONDING TO THE CHALLANGES OF CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY" held on 20-21 June 2019 in Ljubljana, Csilla Szabo from BME's Centre for Translation and Interpreting Training held a presentation entitled "Fit-for-market specialised translation training: a Hungarian example". In her talk, she introduced some of the key results of the eTransFair project and detailed how these achievements have been incorporated into the curricular and extracurricular activites of BME's . She focused on schemes and activities by means of which they involved market stakeholders into their activities i.e. the mentoring scheme, the 3-month internship, regular events such as Trainees Meet Professionals or Trainees Meet Trainees. Two major collaborative platforms, created within the framework of eTRansFair were also highlighted: the Pool of Assessment Techniques (PAT) and the Methodology Portal are now available on this website and await professionals for contribution.
