Based on the eTransfair Competence Card (Output 1) and the Transferable Training Scheme (Output 2), unique training materials consisting of modules and units was developed. The modules were piloted in courses and evaluated by external evaluators. The following seven modules (and units) were designed:

The added value of these modules can be summarised as follows: The e-modules are based on innovative teaching and learning methods and activities (e.g. cooperative learning, translation industry case studies, etc.). The activities are oriented towards the market (e.g. work of translation agencies) in order to integrate more translation assignments reflecting the professional life of translators in training.

The training material will be made available Europe-wide, ensuring compliance with comparable quality criteria at EU level, thus leading to improved quality assurance in translation education and training across Europe.
