IO3: TRAINING MATERIAL WITH A SET OF COMMON E-MODULES
Based on the eTransfair Competence Card (Output 1) and the Transferable Training Scheme (Output 2), unique training materials consisting of modules and units were developed. The modules were piloted in courses and evaluated by external evaluators.
All the modules could either be used for individual training or applied as part of an existing training programme.
All activities within the modules are only ideas and cannot be regarded as an entire course or constitute the main part of a training course.
The following seven e-modules (and units) were designed within the framework of eTransFair:

The added value of these modules can be summarised as follows: The e-modules are based on innovative teaching and learning methods and activities (e.g. cooperative learning, translation industry case studies, etc.). The activities are oriented towards the market (e.g. the work of translation agencies) in order to integrate more translation assignments reflecting the professional life of translators in training.
The training material will be made available Europe-wide, ensuring compliance with comparable quality criteria at EU level, thus leading to improved quality assurance in translation education and training across Europe.
TRAINERS who took part in the piloting will receive a CERTIFICATE. The list of those awarded with a certificate will be published on our website. Please send an email (attaching the completed template) to: etransfair (at) inyk.bme.hu if you have been involved in the piloting and would like to receive your certificate.
